About Nice

Nice  – A symbol of the mediterranean art of living

A seaside location, exceptional sunshine, easy access, suitable meeting infrastructures, and the Côte d’Azur picturesque landscapes make Nice a destination of choice to host the ISF World Seed Congress 2019.

As soon as you arrive, you will enjoy the exotic charm of the celebrated, palm tree-lined « Promenade des Anglais ». During your free time, discover a different atmosphere, a young and dynamic city, offering a mix of «French and Italian charm». Wander around the streets of the old city and be fascinated by the elegant Gothic or Italian Renaissance style while breathing the exotic flavours of the stunning gardens and the gorgeous flower market.

Nice is also turned towards modernity, ecology and a sustainable economy: a new tramway, high-tech companies, innovation and green programmes.

The city is the ideal starting point to explore the French Riviera and the stunning hilltop villages that dot the surrounding countryside. For the athletic-minded, the area offers a wide range of sporting activities: water sports, scuba diving, golf, hiking trails and more.
