All about what you should know before you start registering to the ISF World Seed Congress: eligibility to register, registration fees for delegates and accompanying persons, registration periods, registration inclusions.


Who Can Register as Delegate?

Participation in the ISF World Seed Congress is not open to everyone.

You can register as a Delegate if you are:
– a representative of an ISF Member (Ordinary, Associate and Affiliate)
– an employee of a company that is a member of the National Seed Association in your country of residence. This National Seed Association must be an ISF Ordinary Member.
Delegates have access to the Trading Floor, Exhibitor Area and to Open Meetings as well as to all Social Events (Opening Ceremony, Welcome Party and Gala Dinner).

On-site registration will only be granted and processed if the Delegate provides a signed declaration from her/his National Seed Association confirming that the Organization or Company that she/he represents is a member of that National Seed Association.

For more information on participation as a Delegate, refer to the Registration Inclusions and Registration Rates. Please also make sure you know your company’s membership level to ISF prior to submitting your registration request.


Who Can Register as an Exhibitor?

Membership to ISF is not necessary for Exhibitors. For more information on exhibit booths as well as for the exhibitor registration eligibility and fees, refer to the Exhibition section.


Accompanying Persons

This registration category is only applicable to the spouse, companion and/or children of Delegates. Registration allows them to attend the Opening Ceremony, Welcome Party, Gala Dinner and the Accompanying Person’s tours. Accompanying Persons can also enter the Golf Tournament (at an additional cost).

Accompanying Persons do not have access to the Congress Venue (Exhibition area, Trading Floor, ISF Open Meetings and General Assembly). Children under 12 years pay no registration fees and may not attend the Opening Ceremony nor Gala Dinner. They must be listed on the registration form.

ISF Membership Levels

Before submitting your registration request, please make sure you are aware of your company’s or organization’s membership level to ISF:

Ordinary Members
National Associations representing seed companies and enterprises based in the country.

Associate Members
Seed companies.

Affiliate Members
Service providers to the seed industry; or related associations not fitting in the ordinary membership category.

Observers
Seed associations and companies with a time-bound observer status.

If your company is a member of an ISF Ordinary Member (National Seed Association of your country of residence) please select « Member of a National Seed Association » when registering.

Disclaimer

Please note that in the event that the Congress and related Pre & Post- Congress meetings are cancelled by the organizers in case of « force majeure », as defined under the “ICC Force Majeure Clause”, the registration fee and any other service ordered through the registration will not be refunded. ISF and the organizers will make every endeavor to assist you in minimizing the consequences of such cancellation. Nevertheless, you may wish to insure yourself directly against such a risk.

Insurance and Liability

Neither the Organizers nor the NOC and Congress Secretariat will assume any responsibility whatsoever for damage or injury to persons or property during the Congress. Participants are recommended to arrange for their personal travel and health insurance. In addition to the above and to avoid any inconvenience, we advise you to carry your own insurance covering your travel, registration costs and lodging cost, should you have to cancel your participation after the cancellation dates indicated in the terms and conditions.

Any replacement, changes or modification regarding all the above services can be subject to a EUR 50 fee for administrative cost.

The Accompanying Persons tours are included in the registration fee. However, for organizational reasons, we kindly ask you to register your Accompanying Persons to the tours they wish to attend upon submitting your registration request to the ISF World Seed Congress 2019.

Pre & Post Congress Tours

Pre & Post Congress Tours will be handled by our local agent through an online reservation portal dedicated to Pre & Post Congress Tours bookings for ISF World Seed Congress 2019 registered participants. The reservation portal will also contain all information about Pre & Post Congress Tours cancellation policy.

Monday 3 June
Half Day – Saint Paul de Vence

Description: Upon arrival at St. Paul de Vence, stroll through the cobblestone streets, stylish cafés, and art galleries. See why this area was so popular with famous Impressionist painters and learn about the history of this splendid medieval Provencal village. Our guide will talk you through the village’s past secrets and anecdotes. Marvel at some architectural gems and lots of other curious little details before your scenic drive back & lunch on the way back to Nice. Dress code: COMFORTABLE shoes (paved streets).

Tuesday  4 June
Full Day – Monaco and Prince Palace discovery

Description: Discover the glamorous destination of Monaco! Direction the Principality of Monaco to enjoy a full-day guided tour. Your will first visit the Old Town, overlooking the harbour and the sea with its Cathedral, built in neo-Roman style in 1875, entirely of white stones from La Turbie and the Prince Palace. A guided visit of the Prince Albert II Palace will be proposed, including the Courtyard of Honour with its monumental flight of steps, the Gallery of Hercules, the residence, and the impressive state apartments where portraits of the princely family can be seen. You will then be able to see the changing of the guard at the Prince’s Palace at 11:55. Lunch will be proposed on the rock. Then, head to Monte Carlo following the famous Grand Prix track of Formula 1. See the stunning Casino de Monte-Carlo, well known all over the world and built in 19th century by Charles Garnier and François Blanc. On the Place of the Casino, you will admire the Belle Epoque architecture of the Hotel of Paris, which features all the charm of the great hotels of the 19th century, and the Café of Paris where a few celebrities stopped by: Coco Chanel, Salvador Dali, Joséphine Baker.

Wednesday 5 June
Half Day – Eze and Fragonard Perfume Factory

Description: Explore Eze, one of France’s most treasured medieval villages, during this half-day guided tour. Perched 1,400 feet above the Mediterranean, this charming town offers exceptional views of Villefranche, Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, and Beaulieu. You will visit the Fragonard Perfume Factory: this Factory stands their perfume, soap and cosmetics equipped with the most modern laboratories and workshops. Discover the trade secrets of perfumes and cosmetics in a guided visit. Then escorted by your knowledgeable guide, you’ll stroll along Eze’s cobblestone streets, lined with boutiques and local artisans, to discover the town’s historic landmarks. Discover Eze’s rich Phoenician, Roman, and Moorish roots as you explore the 14th century La Chapelle de la Sainte Croix. Afterward, enjoy free time to explore this mountain top enclave on your own and browse through the picturesque boutiques. Shop in the village’s many boutiques and one of the two Fragonard perfume factories in Provence near the Lower Square. Guests with walking difficulties may remain at the bottom square of the village to relax at a café or browse for souvenirs instead of following the guide on the climb to the medieval village. A lunch will be proposed on the way back to Nice. Dress code: COMFORTABLE shoes (paved streets).
